Call for Speakers:  2011 PFI Annual Conference

Abstracts are now being accepted for PFI’s Annual Conference, to be held July 24-26, 2011, at the Sawgrass Marriott, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

PFI is accepting abstracts for the following categories:

1. Pellet Plant Optimization and Efficiency

2. International Market Development

3. Pellet Plant Safety

4. Fire Prevention at Pellet Mills

5. Managing Combustible Dust at Pellet Mills

6. Other

Submission Guidelines

1.  All abstracts must be submitted on the attached form.
2.  Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be relevant to one of the six
categories outlined.
3.  The deadline to submit an abstract is April 22, 2011.
4.  Those who submit an abstract should be available to present at the PFI Annual
Conference on Monday, July 25th or Tuesday, July 26th
5.  Abstracts should be sent to Jennifer Hedrick at Hedrick@pelletheat.org or 703-
522-0548 (fax).

Abstract Review and Notification

The PFI Conference Committee will review all abstracts. Notice of abstract acceptance will be made by May 27, 2011.

About the Conference

The PFI Annual Conference, held each July, highlights the various applications of densified biomass fuel and attracts a broad range of individuals from the public and private sectors, academia, and local, state and national governments from North America and beyond.  The conference features two days of educational sessions as well as industry exhibits.
