PFI and RISI Pellet Industry Survey

PFI and RISI continue to collaborate on a monthly industry survey of the pellet industry. Launched in April 2011, the survey is an effort to collect information about our industry, information that will aid the industry’s growth and recognition in the halls of government.

It is critical that the industry develop reliable production, capacity, and sales numbers. Not only will these numbers benefit producers in making decisions regarding production and shipments, they are also key for the industry’s government affairs efforts. RISI is a well-respected company, with years of experience in data gathering and analysis for the forest products industry. All data reported to RISI will be kept strictly confidential.
